The New Year has zipped by and we have gotten busy with all sorts of great new projects.

We have our first buyer at the Kent and Ward project in Durham! Only two lots remain.

We have started working with Carol, an artist from Greensboro, on her modern oasis. We will show you some design images in the spring newsletter.

Ellen Cassilly Architect, and BuildSense have teamed up to design and build three wonderful homes at the corner of Kent and Ward Streets for some lucky clients.
Your new home could be one of them! Please take a look at our informational flyer below and contact us to find out more. 919.530.1149.

The Ito-Gayer Home

This is one fabulous and gracious home. We were lucky to find a few original windows in place as well as some of the original porch ceiling and the traces of the old curved stair which had been removed sometime during its long history. Jon Fish and his crew with Acanthus Construction are knee deep in finish carpentry and working doggedly to get it completed for move in this summer. The home will be on the Trinity Park home tour later this year.

Triangle Home Builders Association - Green Home tour

We are happy to announce that ECA has joined the Home Builders' Association AND we will be having the Lowe/Umbanhower Home on the spring Green Home Tour April 13-14 and April 20-21. This Watts-Hillandale home is getting a sunny, modern addition, including a new kitchen, dining room, playroom, study, laundry, and master bathroom. Here it is with the first coat of paint on a lovely winter day. As an added bonus you'll also be able to see, from the outside, the Lustron home next door. It is one of five still in Durham.

The whole office took a cooking class one evening at the Cookery. We learned how to make an Über breakfast - starting with biscuits.
